Udupi, Sep 21: A youth, who returned to his native after three years of working in the Gulf gave a surprise to his mother, who sells fish in Gangolli market. The video has gone viral on social media.
Rohit, a resident of Gangollli in Kundapura taluk, returned to his native after three years of working in Dubai. He did not inform the matter to his family and friends to keep his arrival a surprise.
When he returned home, his mother had left home for her daily work of selling fish. Rohit also went to the Gangolli fishing port market. He tied a mask around his face to hide his identity as he went and asked for fish from his mother.
As he tried to bargain, his mother Sumitra recognised his voice, got up from her seat and embraced him. Tears of joy rolled down her eyes.
This video has gone viral on the social media. The mother's love towards her son has won accolades and appreciation from netizens.
