Kaup: Video of boy, girl made viral – Case filed against 10 people

Kaup, Sep 23: A case is filed at Kaup police station against 10 people of Agumbe area, who made the video of a boy and girl belonging to different communities viral on social media after waylaying them on the middle of the road for inquiry.

A group of youths had waylaid a boy and girl of different communities on August 22 as they were returning after visiting Sirimane Falls near Agumbe. The group made a video of the boy and girl and later took them to Agumbe police station. The police called the parents of both boy and girl. On inquiry it came to light that the families of both knew each other and they were let off without filing any case.

The group of youths, who recorded the video of the incident, made it viral after a month on social media. As the video went viral, the brother of girl filed a complaint at Kaup police station. Accordingly, the police have registered the case and transferred the same to Agumbe police station. Kaup SI Abdul Khader said that the Agumbe police will investigate further.

    Absolutely wrong these what they made .still worse from Police to register the case and investigate when they made video.None of their business to make video of person whom they dont belong .Police already cleared with their Parents.Now when brother of the girl registered case Police should act immediately and arrest these immoral things and must punish them.Its insulting the personal things of third one.Still these moral Police have not learnt the lesson.

    Time and again we see such news... Police must take strict action against the offenders by naming n shaming them ... This must become a deterrent to other prospective mischief mongers... We read news where people end their lives due to such wrong doings... As such only strict police action is the only way to curb palm itches of these key board warriors...
