Double Yakshagana treat in UAE ‘Yaksha Sambhrama’ on Sep 30, Oct 1

Dubai, Sep 25: Prasanga ‘Chitrakshi Kalyana’ (Raja Rudra Kopa) will be staged on September 30, 5 pm onwards at Gems new Millenium School Al Khail, Dubai. ‘Chandrahasa Charitre’ (Dushtabuddi) will be presented on October 1, 3 pm onwards at Gems World Academy Al Reem Island Abu Dhabi.

Well-known Badagutittu Bhgavata Jansale Raghavendra Achari will be accompanied with Chende by Prasanna Heggar and Sunil Bhandari in Maddale. Famous artiste Subramanya Chittani, Kartik Chittani, Sunil Uppur, Ashok Bhat, M G Hegade and Ravindra Devadiga will mesmerize the audience with their seamless moves and flawless dialogues. Local artistes Vinayaka Hegade, Vishweshwara Adiga, Kishore Gatti and Ananya Vedavyasa will share the stage with guest artistes.

KNRI president Praveen Shetty and philanthropist and businessman Shyam Bhat are the chief guests of the Dubai programme. Sarvottam Shetty, president of Abu Dhabi Karnataka Sangha will be chief guest of Abu Dhabi event.

On behalf of organizers, Ganapathi Bhat and Prashanth Bhat have cordially invited and welcomed all Yakshagana fans to ‘Yaksha Sambhrama’. Entry is free.
