Man arrested in Gurugram for raping 6-yr-old minor girl


Gurugram, Sep 25 (IANS): A 35-year-old man has been arrested here for allegedly raping a six-year-old minor girl, the police said on Monday.

The arrested individual has been identified as Satendra Kumar, a resident of Uttar Pradesh.

According to the police, the accused used to reside with his family members near Sector 15 in Gurugram.

The girl, also a native of Uttar Pradesh, lived in the same neighbourhood.

The incident took place on Saturday.

"On Saturday, my daughter went to Satendra's place. He was alone in the house and watching obscene videos on his mobile phone. He then locked the room and raped my daughter. The accused threatened her with dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone," the complainant told the police.

Later, the victim disclosed the incident to her mother and the family reported the matter to the police.

"She was taken to a hospital for medical examination, where doctors confirmed rape. An FIR was registered against the accused under POCSO on Sunday and the accused was arrested," Subhash Boken, spokesperson of Gurugram Police, said.

    God forbid these men .They see in every girl old or child ,young or dead ,a sex object.No feelings for a human .She was only six years old.Why this Sad that govt.doesnt give them harsh punishment ,thatswhy such cases are increasing.People have no fear of our govt.Modi too is not bothered.One who rapes a six years old child should be sent direct to gallows.No exceptions and no case.Ashaming .Hope girl is now recovering but not from her mental disturbance
