Kundapur: Eid Milad rally witnesses communal harmony between Hindus, Muslims

Kundapura, Sep 28: Muslims took out a rally from Kotathattu of Brahmavar taluk to Kodi Kalyan as part of birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad Paigambar.

A large number of members from the Muslim community including children, youths and senior citizens took part in the rally by foot proclaiming the Eid message.

Members of the Hindu community extended their cooperation to the rally by distributing ice cream and cold drinks and demonstrated harmony between Hindus and Muslims.

The ice creams and cold drinks were distributed to Muslims under the leadership of Kotatattu Padukare resident Rathnakar Sriyan in the presence of Kota C A Bank president Thimma Poojary.

Thimma B Poojary, Rekha P Suvarna, Rathnakar Sriyan, Mahabala Devadiga, Pratap Poojary, Parampalli Umesh Padukare, Nagaraj, Girish Padukare and others took part in the rally. Members of the Muslim community  expressed their gratitude.

    Great 👍 Had such gesture of goodwill been proclaimed and practised by our leaders as laid in our constitution, there would have been perfect peace in our society and we would have been progressed to a great extent.
