Kadaba: Driver dies after auto-rickshaw skids, overturns

Kadaba, Oct 3: An auto rickshaw driver died as his vehicle got overturned at Periyadka near Uppinangady.

The deceased is identified as Dinesh (40), a resident of Irki of Ramakunja village.

Dinesh was returning after dropping a passenger to Bajathur. The auto-rickshaw skidded on the stretch of Periyadka-Ayodhya and overturned. A seriously injured Dinesh was admitted to Wenlock hospital in Mangaluru.

A case in this regard is filed at Puttur traffic police station.

Dinesh used to carry torch (Deevatige) in front of Gods and Daivas during Ramakunja fair. He is survived by wife and daughter.
