Udupi: Stabbing incident at Manipal – Four arrested, complaints filed

Udupi, Oct 3: A gang stabbed a youth of Brahmavar origin at Manipal late night on Sunday. Police arrested four accused in this connection.

The arrested accused are identified as Saif Kukkikatte, Udaf Chitpady, Rahul Shetty Katapadi and Afridi Doddanagudde.

In the complaint that is filed at Manipal police station, it is alleged that Pratap of Brahmavar was stabbed by the four-man gang when he was roaming with his friends Tilak and Harshit at Manipal.

A counter complaint is filed by Udaaf Chitpady accusing Pratap and his friends of assaulting him and attacking him and his friends with stones.

Manipal police are investigating further.
