Daijiworld Media Network – Haveri (MS)

Haveri, Oct 5: A female monkey travelled on a KSRTC bus in the city. The video of the same has gone viral on social media.

The monkey threatened the woman who was sitting on the seat and travelled by sitting on the same seat like human beings. It travelled to a distance of 30 km from Haveri to Hirekeroor. No one sat beside the monkey in the seat that is meant for two passengers.

Some women argued with the conductor to provide them seat as they were standing but the monkey did not budge to the chaos created by the women.

The conductor approached the monkey and jokingly asked to take a ticket. Then the monkey got down from the bus bringing huge smiles on the passengers on the bus.

The public were saying that as the monkey was female, it made use of the ‘Shakti Scheme’ for free travel.

If female monkeys are allowed on the KSRTC bus under the Shakti scheme, what a statement that makes of the Scheme and its protagonists? At a minimum, the KT govt. of Siddu-Shiva combine should allow transvestites to ride free. They have a better claim than female monkeys.
