Udupi: Truckers withdraw protest after Siddaramaiah addresses their issue

Udupi, Oct 5: The lorry owners have withdrawn their protest after the meeting chaired by CM Siddaramaiah on Thursday, October 6.

Speaking with daijiworld.com, Raghavendra Shetty, the lorry owners association leader said, "CM Siddaramaiah has given clear instructions to officials to solve our problems. He himself has given many suggestions also in the meeting. The district administration has been advised to issue re-tender for sand mining and solve the issues within 30 days. All our demands are positively addressed by CM Siddaramaiah. We will withdraw our strike and return to business from October 6."

Raghavendra Shetty also participated in the meeting as a representative of lorry owners association.

    Congress and janaab Sidda devaraya can convince anyone...but ideally he should not give much importance to dk and udupi as they have voted for chaddi party...but as we know Congress is secular..even though mamus are first in line to enjoy guarantees congress will give them...but burnol they should buy on their own
