Brahmavar, Oct 6: The parents’ teachers association meeting of SMS English medium (CBSE) school was held recently.

The PTA meeting for the kindergarten section was presided by Padma Raghavendra, counsellor at A V Baliga, Udupi who spoke about the different types of parenting like authoritative parenting, authoritarian, permissive and uninvolved parenting.

 

The PTA general body meeting for the primary section was presided by Dr Virupaksha Devaramane, consultant psychiatrist at Dr A V Baliga Memorial Hospital Udupi. He explained the concepts of good and bad touch, the psychological problem associated with the excessive use of electronic gadgets.

The PTA meeting for the middle and high school section was presided by Girish M N, counsellor at A V Baliga Memorial Hospital Udupi. Principal Abhilasha S rendered the report for the PTA for the academic year 2022-2023. The chief guest stated about the behavioural problems of the students are not treated in their adolescence. The programmes were conducted under the guidance of the principal Abhilasha S, vice principal, section heads and the teachers.
