Mangaluru, Oct 6: Muhammad Shamil Arshad, a student of Yenepoya Pre University College has been continually bagging merits for himself and the college in Skating.
He bagged 4 gold medals in the 4th ranking speed skating competition under the 500+d rink race, 200mtrs dual T T, one lap road race and 100mtrs road race categories.
To add to his achievements, he also bagged the individual championship trophy in the 14-17 years boys’ inline category.
The 4th ranking speed skating championship was organised by the Karnataka roller skating association (R) from September 29 to October 2 at Rao's Skating Academy, Mysuru.
