Sullia, Oct 7: A group of people entered the polytechnic college at Kurunjibagh under Kasaba village of the taluk, threatened the staff and principal, took their mobile phones, details of CCTV and other information, returned the mobile phones and left the spot.
As per the complaint filed by Dr Jyoti R Prasad (52), a resident of Kantamangala, Ajjavara village of the taluk, on October 6 in the morning, when the complainant was in Mangaluru, the accused and brother-in-law of complainant Dr Chidananda, his wife Shobha Chidananda, son Akshay K C, daughter Dr Aishwarya, relative Hemanatha K V, Jagadeesh Adthale and their staff entered the polytechnic college at Kurunjibagh, which is managed by the complainant and her husband, asked the mobile phones of staff and principal, sought information on the CCTV cameras and their placement in the facility and other information, returned the mobile phones and threatened the staff and left the campus.
A case in this connection is registered in Sullia police station.
