Mangalore: Serial Killer Mohan to Argue Himself in Court

Mangalore, Aug 21: A teacher turned serial killer Mohan, accused of killing 20 young innocent women by making them consume syanade, in a written statement submitted to fast track court here on Saturday, stating  that there is no need of any lawyer for him, instead he himself will argue in the court.

All the 13 cases registered on him will be argued by him. After the remaining 7 cases once submitted in the court of law will be argued by him, he said.

As per CRPC act 304, specified accused can appoint a lawyer, Mohan denied that provision. CID Police already sent a letter to the state Government to transfer all the 7 cases registered in Madikeri, Hassan, Bangalore to fast track court.
