Mysuru, Oct 8: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has assured action against the owner of firecracker godown at Attibele, which resulted in a massive fire mishap that claimed the lives of 14 persons.
Speaking to media persons in Mysuru, he said the godown owner should have taken sufficient safety precautions especially when the person is dealing with combustible materials like firecrackers.
Later, he visited the Manipal Hospital in Mysuru to inquire about the health of former MP Kagalwadi Shivanna, who has been admitted following ill-health. The chief minister’s son Dr Yatindra Siddaramaiah accompanied him.
