Bengaluru, Oct 8: As the conflict between Israel and Hamas rebels in Palestine continues to escalate, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has issued a plea to Karnataka residents currently residing in Israel. In the event that they require assistance or guidance, individuals are urged to reach out to the Karnataka Government's Emergency Operations Center at the following numbers: 080-222340676 and 080-22253707. Additionally, contact can be made with the Indian Ministry of External Affairs at +97235226748, with the Chief Minister personally requesting that he be contacted.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the state government is closely collaborating with the Ministry of External Affairs to ensure the safety and well-being of Karnataka citizens in Israel.

The Chief Minister's office has urged all Indian nationals currently in Israel to remain vigilant and adhere to the guidance and safety directives issued by local authorities. It is strongly recommended to avoid non-essential travel and to stay in proximity to safety shelters during this tense period of conflict.

I'm curious about the stance of many sympathizers of peaceful individuals who carried out an unprovoked terrorist attack on innocent civilians, including women and children. It appears that there may be larger geopolitical factors at play here. International crude oil prices have surged, with the United States providing aid to Iran while also deploying naval fleets to support Israel. It seems that the actions of Israelis, Iranians, and Palestinians have become somewhat predictable for international actors with their own agendas or hidden interests within states. I hope and pray for peace in the midst of conflicts driven by religious differences. It is my sincere wish that we awaken to the consequences of our actions in the name of religion
