Six from Dakshina Kannada stranded in war-torn Israel, helpline opened

Mangaluru, Oct 10: The district administration has informed that six persons from Dakshina Kannada are stranded in war-torn Israel. Among them, five are from Ujire and 1 from Farangipete and all are serving as caretakers in Israel.

The six are stranded at Herziliya, Tel Aviv, Batyam, Netanya, Ramat Hasharow and Hamoshava.

In light of the current situation in Israel, the Dakshina Kannada district administration has requested information regarding Udupi residents currently in Israel for various reasons, including business, education, employment, and other purposes.

Residents are urged to provide these details promptly to the control room established at the deputy commissioner's office, room no. 1077, by calling 0824-2442590. Alternatively, they can contact the state government's emergency numbers at 080-22340676 and 080-22253707.

    No worries, as long as they are in Israel. Sooner or later, they would be brought back. On a separate note. Dear PM Nethanyahu, we are praying for you and your people. In fact christians all over the world are praying for Israel. Its now or never. Annex Gaza and let the Palestinians live a happy life under your regime. Siding with Hamas or Hezbolla have always bought misery to them.

    Yes. Boycott USA and be friends with countries like Iran which support Hamas. USA is not perfect but it definitely is the lesser of the two evils. To counter Chinesa India has to have strong relationships with US. This war happened because of Hamas attacking Israel and nothing else.

    According to me USA is provocating some countries for war to sell their arms and amunations. Because they're under loss. My opinion is all like minded countries who don't want war must boycott USA for world peace.

    The visuals on TV is shocking!!!! For the god's sake! A true human stands with no one but with humanity! I'm with Israel and Palestine but not with Hamas at all! This time it was Hamas and I'm just praying for those innocent people who has nothing to do with this war no matter if they're Israeli or Palestinians 🙏🏻

    USA always induces nations to buy their arms for their own benefit and others security. But this war was provoked by Hamas. Instead of boycotting the US, civilized nations should stop aiding terror organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah.
