Udupi, Oct 11: Every year September 2, is celebrated as Shakespeare Day commemorating the contribtion of William Shakespeare to the field of English Literature. SMS English Medium School (CBSE) also recognized such a remarkable day as LIT Fest remembering and commemorating the works of Shakespeare. Prof Johnson Jacob, principal of Crossland College presided over the function.
He addressed the students on the works of Shakespeare and his importance in the field of English Literature. Students enacted a short play of Julius Caesar, directed under the able guidance of principal Abhilasha S. Students spoke about the author, sang in honour of the great dramatist.
The principal, vice principal, section heads, teachers and students were present on the occasion.
