Udupi, Oct 13: The mortal remains of the young girl, who went out of the house saying that she is going to Udupi and went missing, were found in Papanashini river on Friday October 13.

The deceased is identified as Vinita (22), daughter of Sadashiva Poojary, a resident of Kongibailu.

A missing case was filed in Shirva police station after Vinita left home in the afternoon on October 9 and did not return. Vinita, who was a BCom graduate, used to work in an electric bike showroom near MGM College on Manipal road for the past four months. She resigned from her job a week ago.

Vinita’s mobile phone went into switched off mode after she went missing. Search for her in nearby vicinity and at the house of friends and relatives did not yield any result.

It is suspected that she must have jumped from the bridge near the river. The mortal remains were found in a decomposed state. Eshwar Malpe, the diving expert of Malpe retrieved the mortal remains from the river and later sent to hospital for post-mortem.

Parents cannot go everywhere behind their children... Especially for the one's aged 18+... They won't even share their problems with parents only few do so... A young soul lost... May God give her family the willpower to overcome this...
