Udupi: 26-year-old chef killed in motorcycle accident

Udupi, Oct 18: An accident on the Parkala national highway junction claimed the life of a motorcycle rider in the wee hours on Wednesday October 18.

The deceased is identified as Akshay Bhat (26). He was unmarried and worked as a chef.

The accident took place when he was on his way from home to Indrali temple to cook the annasantharpane lunch.

Manipal police station officers reached the spot and conducted legal procedures. The body was sent to the Kasturba Hospital. Social worker Nityananda helped in shifting the body to the hospital.
