Mangaluru, Oct 22: A youth riding pillion died as the bike rider lost control over the two wheeler they were travelling and fell into a roadside ditch at Niddel Cross between Nanthoor and Padil on Saturday October 21.
The deceased is identified as Keerthik (21), a resident of Farangipete.
The rider of the bike was riding the two wheeler in a negligent manner that caused it to fall into roadside ditch, it is said.
Keerthik was unconscious after the mishap. He was taken by public to Wenlock hospital where the doctors declared him dead.
