Mangaluru: Eye check up, dental treatment camp held at Trisha College

Mangaluru, Oct 22: The NSS & YRC unit of Trisha College of Commerce & Management and Trisha Evening College, in association with Lions Club Mangalore Karavali, Yenepoya Dental College Hospital, Deralakatte and Rural Health Care and Development Centre, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) Deralakatte organized a free eye check up and dental treatment camp at Sri Ramashrama PU College, Konchadi on Sunday October 22.

Ln Deepak Shetty, the president of Lion Club Mangalore Karavali was the chief guest and Lion NJ Nagesh was the guest of honour for the inaugural programme. Dr Pramada Prabhakar, the head, spoke about the importance of dental checkup. Presiding over the programme Dr Narayan Kayarkatte, the academic advisor of Trisha Group of Institutions requested everyone to maintain good health by taking proper care of every organ gifted by God and make the best use of the free camp.

Shilpa Shetty and Adline Pinto, the programme officers of YRC and NSS, and Dr Hana were also present on the stage. Prabhakar, the librarian of Trisha College, around 30 NSS and YRC volunteers assisted the visitors and doctors. MsPrathiksha welcomed the gathering and

Prajna Rai delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was compered by Khushi. As many as 86 people, young and old of the surrounding areas benefitted from the camp.
