Mangaluru: 107 gms of illegal gold worth Rs 6.47 lac seized at airport

Mangaluru, Oct 22: The customs officials seized gold being illegally transported from Dubai at the Mangaluru International Airport on Saturday.

Gold worth Rs 6,47,350 was recovered from a passenger who came from Dubai by Indigo flight.

Customs officials said the gold paste worth 107 grams was transported inside double-layered biscuits and layers of chocolate-filled cardboard boxes.
