Bengaluru, Oct 23: Chances of Shobha Karandlaje getting nominated as the president of state BJP president are more. It is said that as she belongs to Vokkaliga community, she is preferred over others.
The tenure of current president Nalin Kumar Kateel was completed a few months ago. Hence, the name of Shobha Karandlaje being favoured for the state president post is a surprise to many.
State BJP leaders are expecting nomination within a day or two. The BJP high command will directly declare the name from New Delhi.
As the new president is not nominated, party organization activities are almost stalled. In addition, some BJP leaders are leaning towards the Congress. This has led to the unhappiness among the party cadre. Hence, it is said that the president will be nominated soon.
