Bihar: Hit by Lakhisarai DM's car, man succumbs to injuries after 2 days


Patna, Oct 24 (IANS): A man, who was injured after his scooty was reportedly rammed by the car of the District Magistrate (DM) of Bihar's Lakhisarai on Saturday, succumbed to his injuries at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) here on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Ram Naresh Singh, a trader of Sirkhindi village under Halsi police station in the district. He was travelling on a scooty when the speeding car of DM Amrendra Singh rammed into his vehicle near the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Halsi, on Saturday.

The DM was on the way to attend an event in Tarhari village.

After the accident, Ram Naresh was admitted to the primary health centre in Halsi, from where he was later referred to PMCH for further treatment.
