Jesnia Correa of Mount Carmel School Shines at CBSE South Zone Skating Championship

Mangaluru, Oct 24: Jesnia Correa, a student of grade VII of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru shines this year too at the CBSE South Zone2 Skating Championship 2023 held at National Public School, Kalaburgi from October 19 to 22. She won gold medal in 500 mts and silver in 1000 mts in speed skating and is selected for the CBSE nationals which will be held at Haryana in November.

Prior to this, Jesnia has participated in a number of skating competitions organized by various organizations and has won several medals. She is a national level gold medal winner in skating in the year 2019, 2021 and 2022.

Jesnia is the daughter of Jerome Correa and Preetha Correa of Bejai and is getting coached at Mangalore Roller Skating Club under the guidance of Mr Mahesh Kumar.

The management, principal and staff congratulate Jesnia for her stupendous success in skating and wish her all the best in the nationals.
