Mangaluru: Guest talk session on ‘Interpersonal Skills’ held at GFGC college

Mangaluru, Oct 26: The first activity of Commerce Association for the Academic Year 2023-24 was held on October 26 at 2:45 pm in the GFGC College auditorium here.

Vidya Shenoy, distinguished toast master and member – ISTD, Mangaluru-Udupi Chapter was the resource person for the guest talk. The topic of the presentation was ‘Interpersonal Skills’. She made a short Powerpoint presentation and involved students in her presentation through various activities, role plays and fun games. Key areas like Active Listening, Teamwork, Motivation, Observation and purposeful engagement was dealt in detail.

Kavya of II MCom, Vilas of II BCom A, Ajithashree of II BCom A and a few other students gave positive feedback about the session to the speaker.

Akshitha D’Souza of II BCom ‘A’ introduced the speaker and Varnashree of III BCom C, Commerce Association secretary, proposed a vote of thanks.

Louis Manoj, coordinator, Commerce Association was present for the programme.

Around 50 students participated in this programme.
