Mangaluru: 13th annual convocation of Yenepoya on Oct 28

Mangaluru, Oct 27: The 13th annual convocation of the Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) will be held on Saturday, October 28 at 10.30 am at the Yendurance Zone in the university campus.

A total of 2277 candidates who are eligible to be awarded PhD, post-doctoral fellowship, post graduate degree, post-graduate diploma and undergraduate degree in the faculty of dentistry, faculty of medicine, faculty of nursing, faculty of allied & health basic sciences, faculty of commerce and management , faculty of science, faculty of pharmacy, faculty of arts & social sciences and will be conferred the degree and the diploma. Nine gold medals will be awarded to the toppers in various UG courses.

Dr Azad Moopen, founder chairman & managing director of Aster DM Healthcare will be the chief guest and will be delivering the convocation address.

Dr M Vijayakumar, vice chancellor of the university will present the annual report.

Dr Yenepoya Abdulla Kunhi, the chancellor of the university will preside over the convocation.

Other statutory officers, deans, center heads and faculty from the constituent units along with members of academic council and board of management will attend the event.
