Udupi: Session on 'Basic Life Skill Demonstration' held at Trinity Central School

Udupi, Oct 27: A day specially dedicated to understand and to learn the importance of life skills was marked in Trinity Central School, Perampally.  Chandini Guptha, professor of anatomy, KMC, Manipal, instructor for BLS (Basic Life Skill) from American Heart Association conducted a session on ‘The Basic Life Skill Demonstration Program’ on October 25 for the students of Grade 9.

The vice principal of the school, Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao and Loyal Richard, vice president of the Interact Club were present.

Team KMC, NSS along with RCMT, Manipal conducted a basic life support training session in which they taught the students on how to save a life if anybody gets cardiac arrest and conducted a practical session by dividing the students group into 4. At the end, a quick demonstration on how to use an AED (Automated external defibrillator) machine was taught.
