Beltangady, Oct 27: the twon police have registered a case against MLA Harish Poonja for posting derogatory comments against chief minister Siddaramaiah on Facebook.

Police have registered a case against Harish Poonja on the basis of a complaint filed by former zilla panchayat member Shekar Kukkedi.

Harish Poonja posted a derogatory comment against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah dubbing him as a "Collection Master (CM) of Karnataka" by uploading the photos of the latter and his residence.

Police have booked a case against Harish Poonja under IPC Section 1896 u/s 504, 505(2) after Congress leader Shekar Kukkedi demanded action be taken against the MLA.

    This notorious MLA is in the news for all the wrong doings he has been committing. A person who has allegedly helped his friend rob the forest of the country has no right to speak against Siddaramaih who has no corruption cases against him.

    Ramesh Pai, The same question could be posted to you. Feku saab promised to bring back the black money and send all the corrupt, namely Vadra, Sonia and Rahul to jail. Recently someone asked the question why the person who hoisted the Pakistani flag not in jail. BJP was in power and why he is still free? To send Rahul to jail now, they need flying kiss and Modi chor incident. I thought Gandhi family looted India as claimed by BJP and bhakths, then why they are not in jail after 9 years of BJP rule. How come so many corrupt politicians became clean when they joined BJP?

    Someone got to power with the promise of 15 lacs as well. BTW, do you get any freebies in US? You perhaps did not heard about social security at all because only US citizens are eligible to get social welfare benefits not someone who works in a gas station.
