Beltangady: Holy Redeemer School students excel in taluk level athletic meet

Beltangady, Oct 28: Holy Redeemer School students excel in Taluk level athletic meet for primary and high school boys and girls, held on October 28 in Bajire.

The athletic meet was jointly organised by the school education and literacy department, block education office of Beltangady and Venoor gram panchayat at government primary school, Bajire.

Alston D’Silva of class 8 secured first place in 600m and 400m running and second place in 200m running. He was also awarded the individual championship.

Velona Rego of class 10 secured first place in the walking race.

Shreyas of class 7 secured first place in 400m running.

Manvith of class 7 secured third place in discus throw.

Alston D’Silva, Vivan Pinto, Rehanth and Prajwal all of class 8 secured third place in relay.

Headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto congratulated the participants and winners. Physical education teacher Sharath Pinto trained and guided the students.
