Mangaluru: Srinivas University celebrates HOG-2023

Mangaluru, Oct 29: Srinivas University celebrated HOG-2023 on October 28 at the Srinivas University City campus in Pandeshwara. The event was organised by the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism, and it marked the 32nd year of the food fest.

The chief guest of the program was Fr Robert DSouza, the principal of Lourdes Central School in Bejai. In his speech, he emphasised the importance of educating students to become good human beings. He noted that Srinivas University has been successful in this regard.

 


Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, honourable chancellor of Srinivas University, presided over the event. He advised students to take advantage of their four years of study and cultivate special skills, work hard, and develop their personalities. He also advised them not to neglect any field in life.

Honourable pro-chancellor of Srinivas University Dr A Srinivas Rao, Srinivas University Board of Governors trustee members A Vijayalakshmi R Rao, prof Er A Mitra S Rao, Srinivas University registrar Dr Anil Kumar, Srinivas University development registrar Dr Ajay Kumar, Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism prof Swaminathan S were present.

Yash Raj, the president of the student council, welcomed the gathering, while Vaibhavi Kotian delivered the vote of thanks. Food stalls and cultural programs were the attractions of this food fest.
