Kundapur, Oct 30: Lokayukta sleuths raided the residence of commercial tax officer, early in the morning on Monday October 30.
The officers raided the house of commercial tax assistant engineer officer Rajesh Belakeri that is situated on LIC Road of the city. Inquiry is in progress as per sources.
Rajesh Belakeri is a native of Ankola in Uttara Kannada. He has built a huge bungalow on the cross road of Vaderahobala on LIC Road after buying a land.
Lokayukta officials raided two spots at a time. They raided the house of Rajesh at Belkere in Ankola also. It is learnt that investigation will be carried out at the CTO office in the city once it gets opened.
Team of around seven Lokayukta officials are carrying out the inspection at the house of Rajesh at Kundapur, it is learnt. As the journalists arrived near the residence, the gate of the residence is locked.
