Mangaluru, Oct 30: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru rejoiced greatly as their football teams, both girls and boys returned triumphantly with the trophies and medals won in the AICS Football tournaments.
In the U-14 football tournaments held at Amritha Vidyalaya, Mangaluru on October 26th and 27th, the school’s U-14 girls’ team emerged winners and U-14 boys’ team bagged runner up position, while Ashish H was awarded the “best goal keeper” praize.
In the U-17 football tournament organized earlier by Yenepoya School, the U-17 girls’ team emerged runners up and Shreya Kottary of grade IX was crowned as “best goal keeper” of the tournament.
The school management, principal and staff congratulated the football players for their brilliant performance and wish them well in their future events.
