Mangaluru: Kannada Rajyotsava celebrated at St Aloysius English medium school, Urwa

Mangaluru, Nov 1: St Aloysius English medium school, Urwa celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava day with due importance. Sixth standard students sang a prayer.

School headmaster Aloysius D’ Souza unfurled the flag. Students sang the national anthem and the state anthem. The students sang in group five songs proclaiming the glory of Kannada language. Sixth standard student Hanumatha Poojary explained the significance of Rajyotsava day. 


Ajna Jagadish welcomed all those who arrived for the programme. School headmaster Aloysius D’ Souza gave away the message of Rajyotsava day. Vice president of parent teacher association, Shanti Karkada, teaching and non-teaching staff and parents were present.

Chinmesh Kothari compered the programme. Sweets were distributed to students at the end of the programme.
