Mangaluru: Srinivas University organizes badminton tournament for Institute of Aviation Studies

Mangaluru, Nov 2: The badminton match took place for the students of the Institute of Aviation Studies, Srinivas University on October 26, featuring the skill and determination of the college's finest badminton players. The match was held at the university’s quadrangle at Pandeshwara and drew a significant crowd of enthusiastic students, faculty, and staff.

The badminton tournament was organized by the sports coordinator of the institute, Bhagyashri with the assistance of Aishwarya, faculty, Institute of Aviation Studies. The referee for the tournament was of the university’s physical director referee Supriya Adiga. The tournament consists of a total of 13 teams of boys and 5 teams of girls participating.

The winners of the badminton tournament girls were from the team Vikarna Gopika Subash (II-year BBA aviation and logistics management) and Fathimath Anzila A K (I year BBA aviation management). The runners were team Poundriya, Sakshi (III-year BBA aviation management) and Ankitha (III-year BBA aviation management).

The winners of the badminton tournament boys were from the team Greeshma, Mohammed Farhan CM (I year BBA aviation management), and Mohammed Anas (II-year BBA aviation and logistics management). The runners were Chakravyuha, Vishnu Jangid (II-year BBA aviation and logistics management), and Suhaf Abdul Khader (II-year BBA aviation and logistics management). 

The badminton tournament not only highlighted the dedication and prowess of the college's badminton stars but also brought the college community together in a spirit of competition and unity. The match encapsulated the spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie within the college.
