Mangaluru, Nov 2: The M Com Department of Sacred Heart College in Madanthyar hosted a vibrant and exciting Fresher's Day programme AAGHAAZ 2023 for welcoming first year M Com students to the institution. The event was graced by the presence of Dr Stany Goveas, the correspondent of Sacred Heart Educational Institution, who inaugurated and presided over the function. Prof Alex Ivan Sequeira, the principal of the College, Nelson Monis, coordinator of M Com and class representatives of both I and II M Com were present for the inaugural session.

In his inaugural address, Dr Stany Goveas shared his heartfelt wishes with the freshers, encouraging them to embark on their academic journey with enthusiasm and determination. He emphasized the significance of education and personal growth in a student's life, offering inspiration to the newcomers.

The event was further illuminated by the presence of principal Prof Alex Ivan Sequeira, who shared his valuable insights and words of wisdom. Prof Sequeira highlighted the college's commitment to providing a nurturing and conducive environment for academic excellence and holistic development. He also emphasized the importance of active participation in extracurricular activities to ensure a well-rounded college experience.

As a sign of token of love plant saplings were distributed to all the first year M Com students. Geetha Shetty of II M Com welcomed the gathering. Shadiya of II M Com proposed a vote of thanks.
