Mangaluru, Nov 3: A youth, who was distraught by the fact that his lover girl denied coming out with him for roaming, hurled stones at the building where the girl works. Public caught the youth and thrashed him.
Vivek (18), a native of Sullia was in love with a girl, who was working in a PG accommodation near Bendore. On Thursday evening, he came to Bendore and pestered the girl to accompany him for an outing. However, the girl denied going with him. Vivek, who got enraged by the act of the girl, hurled stones at the PG accommodation where she was working.
Window panes of the building were broken due to the stone pelting by the youth. Public who saw the youth throwing stones, caught him and thrashed, it is learnt.
