Moodbidri: Leopard falls accidentally into well, rescued

Moodbidri, Nov 7: Forest officials, along with locals, rescued a leopard that accidentally fell into a well at Maroor under the limits of town municipality on Monday.

The villagers who saw the huge leopard fall into the well informed the matter to forest officials and police. Forest team led by zonal forest officer Hemagiri arrived on the spot and lowered a cage into the well and brought the leopard up from the well.

The leopard was given first aid and released into the nearby forest.
