Brahmavar, Nov 9: SMS English Medium (CBSE) School celebrated Hindi Day on September 22.

Dr Bhairavi Pandey, a Hindi lecturer at Poorna Prajna College, Udupi, presided over the programme as a chief guest. She motivated the students and emphasised the value of Hindi as a language. Using instances from Mahatma Gandhi's life, the chief guest discussed the significance of hygiene and cleanliness by referencing the ‘Swachh Bharat Campaign’. She also exhorted the students to form good virtues.

Students learned about the beauty of the Hindi language and literature through various mediums, such as reviews of Hindi movies, poem recitations, group songs, drama, and advertisements. The principal, vice principal, section heads, students, and teachers were present.
