B S Yediyurappa's son Vijayendra replaces Kateel as BJP state president

Bengaluru, Nov 10: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed B S Yediyurappa's son Vijayendra as the party's state president with immediate effect, party general secretary Arun Singh disclosed on Friday.

The decision was a long pending one and was often matter of redicule by the opposition parties. Vijayendra replaces MP Naln Kumar Kateel as statre president.

MLA from Shikaripura assembly constituency, B Y Vijayendra, was the state vice-president of the party. Party national president J P Nadda has appointed Vijayendra as the state president with immediate effect.
