Mangaluru: Carmel School Moodbidri conducts general quiz competetion

Mangaluru, Nov 10: Carmel School Moodbidri nutures the inquisitive minds. To hone this talent of the students a general quiz competition 2003- 24 was organized by the cabinet ministers of the school on November 2.

The major objective of this quiz was to emphasize the power of the intelligence to widen the horizon of general knowledge of the students. It was arranged in two groups grade 3 to 5 (preliminary round) and grade 6 to 10 (preliminary and final round).

 

The quiz was initiated by singing melodious prayer song. The quiz master Shaun Pinto head boy of the school conducted the quiz in a very interactive way and the teams participated with great enthusiasm.

Students skilfully answered the questions asked. There were eight teams qualified for the final round consisting of three participants each. There were altogether six rounds in this quiz competition.

The quiz was conducted the able guidance of Sr Preena the vice principal and Sr Ranitha the cordinator. Although some of the questions were very tricky, the teams tried to answer this with confidence. The questions put forth to the teams were answered correctly. The audience also got a chance to participate every time when the questions were not able to answer.

Sr Preena AC also appreciated all the cabinet ministers who were very responsive, well prepared and enthusiastic throughout the conduct of the quiz. The quiz questions were appropriately displayed through power point presentation by Jolan Barboza .The quiz competition was compered by Rian D’costa.Vote of thanks was delivered by Crystal Dsilva.
