Mangaluru: Children’s Day celebrated at Mount Carmel Pre-Nursery and Nursery

Mangaluru, Nov 11: Every child is a different kind of flower and together they make a beautiful garden.

The Children’s Day for the pre-nursery and nursery kids was celebrated at Mount Carmel on November 10.

The programme commenced by lighting the Diya and praying God’s blessings on all the children. The teachers then entertained the children by their dance performance. The winners of the various competitions held on this occasion were felicitated.

Greeting the students a very happy Children’s Day, Sr Asha Prima spoke on Chacha Nehru and the great love he had for children. She also made the children aware of how precious they are and how much their parents and teachers love them. It was a fun filled day for the children. They danced along with teachers.

The day ended with delicious ice cream and children went home with a happy heart.
