Mangaluru: Teaser of Tulu movie ‘Dharmadaiva’ released

Mangaluru, Nov 13: “Tulu language is mother language. All the movies that are produced in Tulu language should be watched by public in cinema theatres only. Tulu film world will grow due to this,” said renowned movie director Dr Devadas Kapikad.

Kapikad was speaking after releasing teaser of the movie ‘Dharmadaiva’ directed by Nitin Kukkuvalli and produced by Biliyaru Rakesh Bhojaraja Shetty under the banner Dharmadaiva Production House at Big Cinemas in Bharat Mall.

Devadas further said, “Daiva has not forsaken anyone who believes in it. Daivaradhane and Bootharadahane is the custom of Tulunadu. One should have devotion and fear towards Daiva. Daivaradhane is the strength of the earth of Tulunadu. When Daivaradhane is done with devotion it is possible to see the miracles of Daiva.

“We have seen the divine power of Daiva in the movie Kantara directed by Rishab Shetty. Kantara movie got famous in India and abroad. Now Dharmadaiva has created curiosity among the cine-goers,” he said.

Renowned director Vijayakumar Kodialbail, who was the chief guest, said, “Kantara put a solid foundation for the Tulu film industry. Let Dharmadaiva movie also find success.”

Producer Prakash Pandeshwar said, “Serious movies like Dharmadaiva should also be produced along with comedy movies. Support of movie lovers is needed for movies of this kind.”

Kishore D Shetty, Leeladhara Shetty Kaup, Chethan Rai Mani, Akshit Suvarna, Ravindra Shetty Nuliyalu, Jayanta Nadubail, K K Pejawar, Sachin Uppinangady, Kishore, Suhan Alva, Yogish Shetty Jeppu, Sahaj Rai Balajja, Deepak Rai Panaje, Roopashree Varkady and Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli were present.
