Mangaluru: Sr Marie Ange of Bethany sisters passes away at 77

Mangaluru, Nov 16: Sr Marie Ange, who was serving in Bethany Sisters convent died on November 14 of illness.

She was 77 years old.

Sr Marie Ange, who had strong inclination towards religion, joined the Bethany Sisters in 1963. She served as a teacher and head teacher in various educational institutions run by the Bethany Sisters.

After her retirement, Sr Marie Ange was serving at Sachethan (Bethany Rural Centre) of the mother organization of Bethany at Bendoor.

Sr Marie Ange had excellent knowledge of Konkani, Kannada and English langauges.

She has penned several articles and written many books.
