Brahmavar: GMVPS organizes workshop on ‘Child Safety’

Brahmavar, Nov 16: A workshop on ‘Child Safety' was organized for the students of class 8 and 9 at G M Vidyaniketan Public School. Health and Emotion Group founder Dr Rajalakshmi, was the resource person. She gave a demonstration about the problems faced by children today, the ill-effects of mobile usage, and the safety of children. Then the children discussed freely with the doctor and found solutions to their confusions. 

George Kurian, the school principal said, “We should be aware of mental, financial, intellectual and social health along with physical health.”

Prakashchandra Shetty, chairman of the school management board said, “In today's rapidly growing phenomenon, accidents are more likely to happen. Therefore, there is a need for proper guidance and information for students to reach their specific goals. In this regard, G M has organized several such programmes.”

Venkat, school faculty and students were present in the programme.
