Mangaluru, Nov 16: Deepavali at Carmel School was celebrated brightly, commencing with a meaningful prayer service during the morning assembly by the students. Later, a staff get-together enriched by a beautiful ceremony took place.

The festivities commenced with the lighting of the lamp around the rangoli, led by Sr Lily Pushpa, followed by Sr Prem and Sr Premal. The event transitioned into an invocation, setting a spiritual ambiance. The essence of the three-day Deepavali festival was eloquently narrated by our devoted teachers Deepthi, Shwetha, Shilpa, and Preethi who shared insightful stories connected to this celebration.

The atmosphere was further enlivened with a delightful assortment of sweets and beverages, adding sweetness to the cultural jubilation. Sr Lily Pushpa, expressing her gratitude, thanked the teachers for their captivating stories that delved deeply into the festival's spirit.

Akshatha gracefully compered the entire programme, infusing warmth and coordination into the festive ambiance.
