Mangaluru, Nov 18: Udupi quadruple murder case accused Praveen Chowgule was brought to his former residence in Padavinangady by Udupi police for spot inspection.
Praveen was staying in a house in Padavinangady earlier for quite a long time.
Investigative officer, forensic officials and other police department officials were present during the inspection.
The police undertook an intense search for the knife which was used by the accused for conducting the crime.
Weapon and other materials used during the time of offence were recovered on November 17 and 18.
It may be recalled that Praveen Chowgule had brutally murdered four persons in their residence in Nejar, Udupi in broad daylight on November 12.
