Mangaluru, Nov 19: Three people were arrested by Bajpe police at Kaazil for transporting prohibited narcotics in a scooter.
The arrested accused are identified as Thejaksha Poojary (22), Santhosh Poojary (24) and Aboobacker Siddique (26).
Personnel of Bajpe police station were conducting vehicle checking when they came across three people riding on a scooter. SI Gurappa Kanti asked the riders to stop the vehicle. They tried to escape. However, police chased them and on checking found 340 grams of Ganja.
A case was filed in this connection in Bajpe police station.
