Mangaluru: "Founder's Day" celebrated at St Ann's PU College

Mangaluru, Nov 19: St Ann's PU College celebrated it's Founder's day and 200th birth anniversary of Venerable Mother Veronica. The programme began with invocation by the students of 2nd science.

The chief guest Sr Sylvette AC along with the Principal Sr Marilda and Vice Principal Anil Noronha, adorned Our Foundress with a garland.

The students sang a song praising Mother Veronica.

The chief guest and the audience were welcomed by a beautiful dance and the welcome address was given by Sahana.

Chief guest in her speech highlighted the virtues of Mother Veronica and urged the students to emulate those values.

The cultural programme began with the life story of Mother Veronica which was followed by a quiz for the audience. Attractive prizes were awarded to the winners.The students presented a Theme dance on women empowerment and sang an action song of encouragement. The programme concluded with an entertainment dance.

The programme was compered by Nazaf and Safruddin. Vote of thanks was given by Teena.
