Vokkaliga Math pontiff calls on Bommai at his residence

Bengaluru, Nov 20: The Adichunchanagiri Math chief Sri Nirmalananda Swamiji, pontiff of the prominent Vokkaliga Math, called on former BJP Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai at his residence on Monday.

The Shreeshaila Math pontiff, Jagadguru Dr Channasiddarama Pnnditaradhya Swami also joined the Vokkaliga Math pontiff.

The visit was to inquire about the health of Bommai, who recently underwent heart surgery.

Newly elected BJP opposition leader in the assembly R Ashok, who is a Vokkaliga, along with BJP MLA K Gopalaiah and Muniraju were also present.
